Sangiovese PGI 5 Liters

Sangiovese PGI is a dry still red wine produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes. It has a lively ruby red color and fruity aromas of raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry. On the palate it is soft, but well endowed with taini and a boost of freshness. It has an alcohol content of 13% and the optimal serving temperature is 20°C. The grapes are harvested mechanically, strictly early in the morning, and the wine is aged in steel barrels to avoid refermentation in the bottle. The vineyard is located in Faenza, in clayey and silty soil. Recommended food pairings include savory dishes such as pasticciati strozzapreti.
